Megan Hamilton

Research Physiotherapist

BPhysio (Hons), MPhil, APAM

Megan is a Physiotherapist with over 20 years of experience working with people recovering from brain injury and concussion. Megan has worked in both the UK and Australia and travelled to the USA to study concussion. Megan completed her Masters by Research at the University of Melbourne in the field of Traumatic Brain Injury and she has presented on the topics of Concussion and Traumatic Brain Injury nationally and internationally.

Megan understands that concussion symptoms and recovery can be complex and that a thorough physical assessment is paramount to designing an individualized treatment plan. Megan uses compassion and education to guide her patients through a comprehensive treatment program to help them achieve their goals of returning to sport, study, work and life.

When not at work, Megan enjoys playing with her 3 young children, practicing yoga and pilates and listening to Podcasts.

Drew McInnes

Drew McInnes

Physiotherapist, BBiomed, MPhysioPrac, APAM

Drew is a physiotherapist who graduated from La Trobe University with a Master of Physiotherapy Practice after completing a Bachelor of Biomedicine at the University of Melbourne. Having worked in large private and public hospitals in both Melbourne and at Barwon Health, Drew has developed a passion for treating concussion and vestibular patients across acute, rehabilitation and outpatient settings.

Drew strives to build his clinical skills by completing regular and ongoing professional development to deliver best practice care. He is highly compassionate to his client’s situation and understands the complex nature of concussion and vestibular conditions. Drew believes that education and well-developed treatment plans are essential in supporting patients to reach their individual goals.

Outside of work, Drew enjoys being active through a variety of sports, involvement in local sporting clubs and spending time with family and friends.

Meagan Kiely

Meagan Kiely

Physiotherapist, Health Science (UTAS), Masters of Physio (University of Sydney)

Meagan graduated from the University of Sydney Masters in Physiotherapy in 2018 and has worked in the private practice sector in both Sydney and Melbourne since. Meagan has experience treating a wide variety of injuries and has recently completed further study in concussion and vestibular physiotherapy. Due to her sporting background, she has special interest in treating sport-related injuries, including concussion and is currently enrolled in the Masters of Sports Physiotherapy at ACU. 

Meagan has personally been involved in elite sport, recently retiring from playing AFLW for the Richmond Football Club and now working as a development coach at the North Melbourne Football Club. Due to her personal experiences as an elite athlete sustaining injuries, Meagan understands the challenges of injury treatment and rehabilitation. 

In her spare time Meagan enjoys running and strength training, cooking, walking her Vizsla Addie, getting back home to see her family in Tassie and catching up with friends for quality coffee and food.

Keely Wilson

Keely Wilson

Physiotherapist, BPhysio (Hons), APAM

Keely has a keen interest in treating vestibular/vertigo conditions and concussion. She has extensive knowledge in headaches and migraines. Keely believes in empowering her patients through education and knowledge to understand their conditions so they can achieve their personal goals.

Keely graduated from Monash University with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy (Hons) and has completed further vestibular and concussion training, as well as the Level 1 Watson Headache Institute Course. She is trained in both DMA and APPI pilates.

In her spare time, you’ll find Keely playing AFL for South Melbourne, supporting the Sydney Swans or lying on the beach despite her redheaded genetics.

Fiona Watson

Fiona Watson

Physiotherapist, BPhysio (Hons), MSc, APAM

Fiona is a physiotherapist with more than twenty years experience in neurological rehabilitation, and over these years has developed a passion for treating clients with concussion and vestibular disorders. She graduated from Kings College London University and completed a Masters in Neurorehabilitation at Brunel University in London.

Fiona has completed advanced training in the area of concussion and vestibular rehabilitation, notably the world renowned Susan Herdman Advanced Vestibular training and the Complete Concussion Management course. She has many years experience working within a multi-disciplinary concussion clinic, understanding the complexities of acute concussion care to the more persistent post-concussion symptoms. Fiona also has experience working within a specialist vestibular physiotherapy clinic treating BPPV, vestibular migraine and other complex vestibular conditions.

Outside of work, Fiona enjoys running, gardening, learning Tae Kwondo and spending time with her husband, 4 children and dog, Willow.

Stephane

Stephane Desjardins

Physiotherapist, BPHYSIO (HONS), APAM

Stéphane graduated with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy (Honours) and has over a decade of experience across hospital and private practice settings. He worked in hospital rehabilitation, developing a strong foundation in managing a broad range of conditions, before working in a specialist vestibular private practice. Stepháne has a particular focus on vestibular disorders – treating vertigo, dizziness, and balance impairments – and concussion assessment and management. He has completed extensive advanced training in this area, including courses in Australia and with the internationally recognised Herdman Group (USA).

Stéphane takes a patient-centred approach, valuing careful listening and a deep understanding of each individual’s experience. He recognises the complexity of concussion and vestibular conditions, and the impact they can have on daily life. Through clear communication, education, comprehensive assessment, and tailored treatment plans, he supports patients throughout their recovery journey, helping them build confidence and return to the activities that matter most.

Outside of work Stéphane enjoys playing the piano, reading, going to the gym and spending time with family and friends.

  • Clinical psychologists: to help with emotional recovery following concussion
  • Neuropsychologists: to obtain a neuropsychology assessment to determine the state of the cognitive functioning (thinking and problem solving) of your brain
  • Speech Pathologist: to teach you strategies to help you return to studying and liaise with your school or learning institution about how they can support your learning following a concussion
  • Occupational Therapist: to help you return to work following a concussion
