Return to Sport, Work & Study
Return to Sport
According to current guidelines it is strongly recommended that all athletes do not return to contact sport for 12 days following a concussion.
At concussion central we provide comprehensive assessment and treatment of your autonomic nervous system, neck and vestibular and ocular systems to ensure that these are all functioning well before you return to contact sport. We provide you with a graded return to sport exercise program, which is designed according to your individual needs and your specific sport.
You should never return to contact sport if you are still experiencing symptoms following your concussion. This can put you at great risk of re-injury and a longer period of time out of sport.
